Using This Preset Well
The D6 preset contains the integers 1 through 6 once each. With equal weights, it models the face probabilities of one fair six-sided die: every value has a 1 in 6 chance. It is useful when a physical die is unavailable and the activity only needs a displayed result.
Setup checklist
- Keep all six values at weight 1 to preserve equal probabilities.
- Do not use Remove winner for ordinary dice behavior because real dice can repeat.
- For custom game dice, edit the labels but check whether the intended faces should remain equally likely.
How to read the result
The browser selects a value using `crypto.getRandomValues`, then animates the wheel to the chosen segment. Previous rolls do not make a missing number due on the next spin. The history panel is descriptive, not predictive.
Limits
This page models one D6. It does not provide a verifiable seed or a certified gambling result. The separate double-dice preset uses weighted totals, because two physical dice do not produce totals 2 through 12 with equal frequency.
